Alberobello is one of the must-see sights in Puglia!
Alberobello is famous for its small whitewashed stone houses and conical roofs, the trulli! The village has no less than 1,400, which has earned it a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You can walk through the village freely and admire the trulli from the outside. The majority of them now host souvenir shops or cafes/restaurants.
To better understand the original interior of a trulli, you can visit the Trullo Sovrano, a 2-storey trulli with internal staircase or the Museum of the Territory, a group of 15 trulli where you will find explanations about their origins, daily life in the trulli and the traditions of the Valle d’Itria.

This historic port city attracts locals and tourists with its 10km of beaches and plunging rocks.
In town, the cathedral offers large mosaics dating back to the 12th century. If you like snorkeling and views of the horizon, the short trip south to Porto Badisco will satisfy you.
All the charm of Polignano comes from its white-fronted houses perched on cliffs, 20 meters above sea level.

Perched on a rocky promontory, overlooking the countryside and vast olive groves, Ostuni stands out as a flagship destination in Puglia.
Nicknamed the White City (Citta bianca) because of the whitewashed walls of the houses, Ostuni is a very pleasant city to visit. Do not hesitate to walk all the small streets of the historic center, the different passages and stairs. It’s not very big and there’s little risk of getting lost!
Your walk will inevitably take you to the upper part of the city. Here you will be able to see the 2 main buildings which are the Ostuni Cathedral and the Bishop’s Palace.

The Sassi di Matera (translated as “Stones of Matera”) are troglodyte houses. First simple caves shaped by the torrent that flows at the bottom of the ravine, the place has been occupied since the Paleolithic, which contributes to make Matera, one of the oldest cities in the world and one of the oldest archaeological sites!
